Temperature Compensating Power Resistors

KRL provides a wide range of temperature compensating resistors with linear temperature coefficients from +80PPM/°C to +6000PPM/°C. These are typically used for temperature sensing or for compensating for other temperature sensitive components. KRL High T.C. Resistors are available in any of the packages listed in this Catalog

• RESISTANCE RANGE - 10Ω to 25KΩ. For a particular style, the Maximum Resistance in Percent from the chart must be applied to the normal catalog maximum resistance.
• TOLERANCE - Standard from 10%, 5%, 3% and 1%. Accuracies to 0.2% are available. Consult factory for special requirements.
• TEMPERATURE RANGE - From -55°C to +145°C, +25°C ref.
• TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENTS - Available from +80PPM/°C to +6000PPM/°C (see table below). Use Order Code A thru T for standard T.C.'s shown.
• SPECIAL TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENTS - If you need a special, Non standard T.C., Use Order Code X and specify the exact T.C. required and temperature range of operation with 25°C as reference temperature. (Factory must approve all non-standard T.C.'s)
• APPLICATIONS - Since there are many packages that a High T.C. Resistor can accommodate, it is impossible to show all types. Most often a customer will have a unique situation and our engineering department will gladly aid in any design and development of customer requirements. KRL High T.C. Resistors have found their way into Power Supplies, Motor Controllers, Computers, Electronic Circuits for D to A and A to D Converters, Temperature Sensors for the Medical Electronics Field, Aircraft Systems, Aerospace Flight Modules, and in Automotive Electronic Ignition Systems.
